Bead Mill Homogenizer
24-Tube Throughput · 3D Motion · 5-Inch Touchscreen
24 × 2.0 mL Standard · Optional 12 × 5.0 mL · 2,000–4,300 RPM · 500 W Brushless · 50 Stored Programs · Cycle Mode
The BMH024 turns the hardest homogenization challenges — bone, plant cell walls, bacteria, tough fibrous tissue — into a walk-away 30-second protocol. 24 samples processed simultaneously using 3D motion that subjects each tube to high-velocity bead collisions. Driven by a 500 W brushless motor with <4-second acceleration and deceleration, programmable cycle mode for heat-sensitive samples, and a 5-inch touchscreen that stores 50 protocols. Set the run, walk away, come back to 24 lysed samples.
Why Bead Milling Beats Other Homogenizers for Tough Samples
A rotor-stator homogenizer is fast, but it processes one sample at a time and struggles with hard samples — bone, dehydrated plant material, bacterial cell walls, chitin-rich organisms, fibrous tissue. The shear forces just aren't high enough. A glass Dounce grinder is gentle, but it's manual, one-at-a-time, and doesn't touch genuinely hard materials.
Bead milling is the answer for tough samples and for throughput. The BMH024 loads 24 tubes containing micro-beads into a rotor, subjects them to 3D motion at 2,000–4,300 RPM, and the collisions between the beads and the sample generate enough mechanical force to lyse the toughest materials in seconds. Change the bead material (glass, ceramic, steel, or zirconia) and you change the collision physics for soft, medium, or hard samples. Add the cycle mode — run/rest/run/rest — and heat-sensitive samples stay cool during extended processing. 50 stored programs on the touchscreen means every sample type in your lab's SOP has a button, not a setup procedure.
24-Tube Throughput
24 × 2.0 mL tubes processed simultaneously with included standard rotor. Optional 12 × 5.0 mL rotor for larger samples. Turns sample-by-sample prep into a single batch run.
3D Motion · Bead Versatility
3D motion pattern maximizes bead-sample collision efficiency. Works with glass, ceramic, steel, zirconia beads — match bead material to sample hardness for optimal lysis.
Cycle Mode for Heat Protection
Programmable cycle mode — run/rest/run/rest — protects heat-sensitive samples during extended processing. Working time 1–90 sec, interval 1–120 sec, up to 10 cycles.
50-Program Touchscreen
5-inch color touchscreen stores 50 protocols for instant recall. Every sample type in your SOP gets a button — set once, run forever. <4-second ramp up and down.
"Bone, bacteria, plants, fibrous tissue — 24 samples at once, 30 seconds, walk away." — The BMH024 is what turns a shift of one-at-a-time homogenization into a batch job that runs while you do something useful.

Ideal Applications
Hard & Fibrous Samples
Bone, cartilage, plant tissue, seeds, cell walls, bacteria, chitin-rich organisms — tough samples that rotor-stator and glass homogenizers can't touch efficiently.
High-Throughput Labs
Clinical research, pharma, biotech, and environmental labs running 20+ samples per prep — 24-tube batch processing replaces a shift of sequential homogenization.
Heat-Sensitive Lysis
RNA extraction, enzyme studies, heat-sensitive proteins — cycle mode (run/rest/run/rest) keeps samples cool during extended processing without thermal degradation.
What's in the Box
The BMH024 ships with the standard 24 × 2.0 mL rotor — the optional 12 × 5.0 mL rotor is available separately for larger-volume samples. Grinding beads sold separately — match bead material and size to your sample type.
