Why Oil-Free Diaphragm Beats the Alternatives

The two common alternatives to a diaphragm vacuum pump both have problems. Oil-sealed rotary vane pumps pull a deeper vacuum, but they require oil changes, they back-stream oil vapor into your sample, and any aggressive solvent vapor that reaches the pump degrades the oil and kills the seals. Water aspirators are cheap but produce tons of contaminated wastewater, lose vacuum quality whenever water pressure drops, and can't pull below about 20 torr.

The RVP01's oil-free diaphragm design eliminates both categories of problem. No oil means zero back-streaming contamination into your sample, no fluid to change, and no disposal cost.
