The TC0401005 is the compact, portable, 12V-compatible mini dry bath with a removable top that accommodates any sample geometry — from 1.5 mL microtubes to 50 mL conical tubes — and five programmable protocol memories that survive the power-off cycle.
Why the Removable Top Matters
The compromise with most mini dry baths is the lid. A fixed or flip-top lid delivers better heat uniformity — but caps your tube height at roughly 2 inches, which eliminates 15 mL conicals, 50 mL conicals, and anything taller than a standard microtube. The moment a protocol needs a bigger tube, the unit becomes useless and the sample moves to a full-size dry bath that's over-engineered for the task.
The TC0401005 uses a fully removable top, so the working well opens vertically to accommodate any tube geometry the interchangeable aluminum blocks support — conical tubes, round tubes, standard centrifuge tubes.
