Vortex Mixer — Analog Variable Speed · 0–3,000 RPM · 6 mm Orbit · Touch & Continuous
Analog Knob Control · Touch Mode · Continuous Mode · Iron-Aluminum Cast Base · 4 Vacuum Suction Feet · Interchangeable Attachment System · CE · cULus · FCC Certified
A full-range benchtop vortexer with one knob, two modes, and no complexity overhead. The VOR2022 sweeps from near-zero to 3,000 RPM through a single analog dial, engages via touch or runs continuously, and plants itself on the bench with four rubber vacuum suction feet and an iron-aluminum alloy base heavy enough to run at full speed without walking an inch. Mix a 50 mL conical completely in three seconds. Use the same instrument for microtubes, multiwell plates, and 125 mL flasks with optional foam attachments.
Why Variable-Speed Analog Is the Right Vortexer for Most Bench Workflows
Fixed-speed vortexers are efficient at one task — maximum-speed mixing of robust samples in standard tubes. The moment a protocol requires anything else — slower speed for fragile pellets, intermediate speed for viscous liquids, or precise speed matching to a validated method — a fixed-speed instrument becomes a liability. Every workaround (shorter touch contact time, manual pulsing, partial tube engagement) introduces operator-to-operator variability that accumulates as results inconsistency.
The analog knob on the VOR2022 solves this at the instrument level. Turn the dial to the speed the sample or protocol requires — anywhere from barely perceptible orbital motion to full 3,000 RPM vortex — and the mixer holds that speed consistently for the duration of the run. The perfect dynamic balance design built into the drive mechanism eliminates the vibration-induced bench walking that makes cheap vortexers unreliable at intermediate speeds. The iron-aluminum alloy base provides the mass to absorb orbital forces at any speed without suction-foot assist. The four vacuum suction feet add active anchoring on top of that mass. The result is an instrument that runs at 800 RPM with the same planted stability as it does at 3,000 RPM.

0–500 RPM
Gentle
Fragile cell pellets, delicate precipitates, low-foam gentle resuspension
500–1,500 RPM
Moderate
Viscous liquids, dense suspensions, paint and ink homogenisation, ELISA reagents
1,500–2,500 RPM
Standard
Routine lab tube mixing, PCR reagent prep, enzyme and buffer resuspension
2,500–3,000 RPM
Maximum
Full 50 mL mix in 3 seconds, aggressive resuspension, tattoo ink and nail polish
Two Operating Modes — Touch & Continuous
Touch Mode — Instant On/Off
Press a tube against the silicone cup head — the motor engages immediately at the set speed. Lift the tube and the motor stops. No mode switching, no button press. One-hand operation: the mixer stays planted while you hold the tube. Ideal for rapid sequential mixing of multiple samples.
Continuous Mode — Hands-Free Running
Switch to continuous and the motor runs at the set speed until you switch it off. Attach a foam platform, load multiple tubes or a microplate, and walk away. Ideal for protocol steps that require extended mixing at a consistent speed — paint shaking, reagent incubation with agitation, long resuspension runs.
0–3,000 RPM Analog Knob — Protocol-Matched Speed
The analog dial gives direct, immediate, continuous speed control across the full 0–3,000 RPM range — no step increments, no menu navigation, no minimum-speed floor. Dial to the speed the sample needs: 300 RPM for a fragile pellet, 1,200 RPM for a viscous suspension, 3,000 RPM for a 3-second full-volume mix.
Iron-Aluminum Base + 4 Vacuum Feet — Zero Movement
The alloy cast base provides the mass to absorb orbital forces at full speed. Four rubber vacuum suction feet add active grip to the bench surface on top of that mass. Perfect dynamic balance design in the drive mechanism eliminates vibration-induced walking at any speed setting — the mixer stays exactly where you place it from 1 RPM to 3,000 RPM.
12 V Low-Voltage Operation — Safe in Wet Environments
The working circuit operates at 12 V through a certified external adapter — mains voltage never enters the instrument body. A meaningful safety advantage on wet lab benches and in shared environments. The brushless DC motor requires no maintenance, no brush replacement, and no lubrication over its service life.
Full Attachment Ecosystem — Tubes, Plates, and Flasks
Ships with the standard silicone cup head compatible with most lab tubes. The VMX series attachment system accepts dozens of optional foam inserts engineered for specific vessel formats — microcentrifuge tubes, 15 mL and 50 mL conicals, blood collection tubes, microwell plates, and Erlenmeyer flasks. One instrument, any vessel.
50 mL fully mixed in 3 seconds at maximum speed — and at 500 RPM it resuspends fragile pellets without disrupting them. The 0–3,000 RPM analog range is the specification that makes the VOR2022 a true all-protocol benchtop vortexer rather than a single-speed mixing tool. One instrument handles the full range from your most delicate cell biology step to your most aggressive reagent homogenisation.

Ideal Applications
General Laboratory
PCR and qPCR reagent prep, cell pellet resuspension, enzyme and buffer reconstitution, DNA and RNA sample mixing, ELISA plate reagent homogenisation. Variable speed matches the protocol requirement — fast for robust samples, slow for sensitive ones — without operator technique variability.
Cosmetics, Tattoo & Hobby
Nail polish, tattoo ink, gel colour, eyelash adhesive, acrylic and model paint homogenisation. At 2,000–3,000 RPM the 6 mm orbit keeps pigments fully suspended in viscous media. In continuous mode with a platform attachment, batch-process dozens of bottles without hand-holding each one.
Clinical & Point-of-Care
Blood collection tube mixing, urine and body fluid sample homogenisation, rapid diagnostic reagent preparation, anticoagulant mixing for hematology samples. Touch mode enables one-handed single-tube operation during high-throughput sample preparation without process interruption.
